※ CIN family introduction CIN, also known as Chronophin, belongs to a family of phosphatase which uses an Asp nucleophile for catalysis. CIN always colocalizes with F-actin and cofilin in membrane ruffles and lmellipodia. CIN can directly dephosphorylate cofilin, and involved cofilin-dependent actin cytoskeletal reorganization. CIN plays an important role in regulating cofilin-dependent cell division and normal cytoskinesis. CIN also possesses activity towards pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP), pyridoxine 5'-phosphate (PMP) and pyridoxine 5'-phosphate (PNP) (1). Reference
