Mustela putorius furo Atypical/FAST
※ FAST family introduction FAST (Fas-activated Serine/Threonine) kinase can catalyze the phosphate group transfer from ATP to Fas-activated Serine/Threonine protein. TIA1 is substrate of FAST kinase, and the phosphorylation will lead to inclusion of FAS exon6, which will produce an mRNA encoding a pro-apoptotic form of teh receptor (1). Since the overall sequence of FAST shares no similarity with ePK, FAST is classified into "Atypical Protein Kinase" group (2). Reference
